The new Ground Control suspension has been installed and functions much better. The ride is great and the vehicle stance is perfect.

This is a picture of the motor and transmission before
insertion into the Miata chassis. Notice how much smaller the electric motor is than the original gasoline engine.
Come with me as I convert two gasoline vehicles to electricity . . . .
I've kept careful records during my electric vehicle conversions, including many detailed photographs. These records and pictures have been organized and compiled into a 12,000+ word book creatively entitled "How To Convert an Internal Combustion Engine Automobile into an Electric Vehicle." Also included is a complete schematic and exact cost for both vehciles. You can click to view the Table of Contents and Preface to see what's in the book. You can also click to view an excerpt from the book to get an idea of the level of detail involved.
Presently, this book only exists in digital form. The main reason for this is that it is still a work in progress. I am still working on the Miata conversion and I periodically update the book to include the latest activities. In this way, the reader gets to learn from my mistakes as well as my successes and can hopefully gain from both.
If you would like to purchase this book electronically for $15.00, please click on the button below. I accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as well as direct PayPal transfer (which I prefer). After completing the purchase process, you will be taken to a page where you can download a copy of the book as a .pdf file. The file is currently about 12 Mbytes. As an added advantage, since the book is a "work in progress," for your $15.00 you also get the right to download the book in the future, getting the latest information as it is added. This almost makes it like you are learning "in real time" as I go through the process of converting other vehicles to electricity.
